For some reason, the forum doesn't remember me between sessions anymore.   I'm running Firefox 16.0.1    It is some evil update on my computer or did something change on the forum?

The tracking - of people and of what posts you've read or not, etc. does seem erratic. I think it gets re-booted at random times, and often forgets some things when that happens. Every now and then it discovers I missed a post from last March or something.

Anyhow, I have to re-log in every now and then, and remind it to remember me. Also - I'm not sure - but you may need to allow cookies for this site. It's the computer equivalent of re-flowing the solder joints!

No change on the forum. Did you maybe do a system cleanup and delete your cookies?
BTW I moved over to Chrome while ago after prompting by kids and co workers and I find it works a lot better than Firefox.

As long as I have it checked to "Remember Me" I get the cookie and I'm signed in when I visit.

But something in my computer cleanup routine forgets that I have clicked on the "Forum Rules" and all other hot links.  They go from burnt orange, indicating that it has been used, to sky blue indicating that it hasn't been read.
