Well, I've done it again. After hooking up a Hammond transformer to a project of mine, things have changed. The transformer originally produced about 180v-0v-180v, and 6.3v on the secondaries. Now, while not being hooked up to anything, I get 142v-142v, and 3.2v....I know, I know, it's all my fault, but any idea what might have happened? I haven't had time to trouble shoot the circuit that it was hooked up yet.

Check the batteries in your meter first ... yes it's happened!

The batteries, AND the test are fired! Yup, lousy test lead connections and low batteries. Why do I suffer so?    THX Paul
