Maybe some more of you nerds will like this...

This is how I made my tone control very useful, and consistent throughout the range of volume.

The .0047uf really needs to be at least .0033uf to sound good from what I can tell (.001 is way to small). The .047uf could also be a .022uf or whatever you want.

I'm using these for volume. They are small and better than plastic pots. Very easy to turn. The value on the tone knob doesn't matter as much (I have a 20k, even though I'd buy a 250k if I had to get a new one, and the 20k works fine).
