I have converted my orginal sex amps to parafeed, the amp works but I feel everything is not right. My question is what is the connection on pin 4 of tube B. The input is on pin 4 of tube A. outputs are all paralleled. and the .47 coupling cap is on tube b at pin 1 to 5. Another question is pin 5 hooked in parallel? as in the output. I have it paralleled. but I think that is not right. Any way one more question what is the connection on pin 6 on tube b and pin 6 or tube A? I have twin LEDs to pin 6 on a. and ? is the connection on tube B pin 6? I hope this makes sense.Jan O.

I'm working on a "History of S.E.X." right now, which might answer a lot of those questions. It's just a draft so far. One of the problems is that there were at least seven versions of the S.E.X., before modifications! But it sounds like one of the modified versions of the last "ParaSEX" version. The driver stage is a mu follower, with (in this case) the output taken from the upper tube cathode. Personally I think it sounds better taken from the lower tube plate, but it's worth trying both to see what you hear.

Wait! I liked the previous one.  It read in my brain like Orson Wells was speaking it.
