I installed pjccs and like it's attributes but mine is noisy. At first I thought it was tube noise but it was definitely the pjccs, sounds like a dirty volume pot except it does it on it's own. I've heard this sound with bad transistors before and that is what I'm suspecting. Anything else I might be missing? Thanks.

Is it noisy regardless of the position of the volume control?  Are the voltages in spec?  Does the noise occur in both channels?

I would take the PJCCS out and put the resistors back in and make sure is all good. It might make it easier to check everything on the PJCCS as well. Just to help make sure you are barking up the right tree!

I am barking up the wrong tree, the noise is still there after removing pjccs, both channels, just not as pronounced. I will investigate further.

I would also advise cutting a long piece of wire, then touching it to the chassis of your source on one end, and the shell of an RCA jack on the other.

You can also try this with your amplifier.
