A standard bottle cap fits on it perfectly! If you squeeze the sides a bit, it'll be a snug fit. The grooves on the edges catch and can turn the knob.
With the right bottle cap, it can complement a more old-fashioned looking Crack.

As soon as I saw that was a bottle cap I knew Eric would post.  And there he is just below the first post.  Now the search will be on for unusual beers.

I don't know if it is unusual, but I highly recommend Jever, a bracingly bitter northern-German pilsner. Hard to find in the U.S. though...(at least where I live).

Jever is a great pilsner, it is to bad it's not readily available in the states. That cap would make a fine addition to my crack.

I was in Basingstoke, England several weeks ago where I tried this local beer called "Hobgoblin" from the Wychwood Brewery..  wish I had saved the bottle cap...

We may end up with a bottle cap exchange here.

In the last year or two I've gotten back into drinking beer.  My current favorites are the 90-minute IPA and Theobroma "chocolate" beer by craft brewer Dogfish head.  Their Pallo Santo and 120-min IPA are good too but better for special occasions.  The latter is especially potent (~18%ABV!) and really needs to be shared.

This has given me an extensive collection of bottlecaps which I had been saving for a relative until he apparently lost interest in whatever project they were going towards.  For some strange reason I'm still collecting them though. :o  ;)

I love the 60 and 90 minute IPA, as a matter of fact I will be bringing some down to Hornfest next weekend.

I split a case of the 120m IPA and was shocked by how much it ended up costing. When all was said and done, I found it to be more interesting than good. Maybe a case of, if two is good four, may not be better...John

Yeah, with the 120 you really only need 1/2 a bottle and then sip it for a hour.

Wow, interesting you should mention the IPA's. I love them! Sam Adams has a selection of them now that I really like. Of course the alcohol content is great, but the robust hopping is where its at. I used to be a home brewer, and this sort of steed makes me want to get back in the saddle.

Anyway - I particularly love the far off tales of drinking in foreign lands. Keep them coming. That reminds me of a show I used to love, what the hell was it... it was some guy getting shit faced in a different country every episode!
