Just finished up my Seduction kit and have been doing resistance and voltage checks.  Everything looks to be in pretty good shape, no smoke!  But, when I checked the voltages the B+ on one of the tubes is higher than stated.

A3, B3, A8, B8 are all good at about 1.56V
Pin 1&6 of one tube is good around 80V but the other tube measures around 100V, swap the tubes and high voltage follows the tube.

Is this something that will settle down after the tube has been on for a while?  Or is there something more going on?

Thanks for any tips!
Tim

That could settle down after 50-100 hours, but it should operate as-is.

Tim,

That is stunning work!  You are in competition with Wardsweb.  It would make a good model for a manual.

That is a high honor here, but let's not get too crazy!  Lots of inspiration from Wardweb's site, even got the varglas because I liked the way it looked and without his site I'm sure it wouldn't have turned out as well.   Once I have the base put together I will post some better pics (non-iphone pics).

Thanks
