Doc,

I thought someone would comment and you were at the top of that list.

It is David 'Honeyboy' Edwards on his 94th birthday. I had some photos in a group show, saw this at the Opening Reception and had to have it. Of course I then bought some Honeyboy CD's.

Thanks so much for all the great ideas.  Love the Mapleshade but not the price.  I may go with the Flexy Rack or modify my existing Sanus stands. The shelves are removable and I could rig in some spacers to extend a couple of shelves to 12" height.

Garrard 301/ high mass plinth, SME 312S tonearm/ Sleeping beauty cartridge/ Denon AU 320SUT. Transcendent audio GG preamp and OTL SOB power amp. Blumenstein Orca/Dungeness Speakers

Second system.  BH Paramount 300B amps.  BeePre.  Sony SCD777ES, Wyred4 sound Dac. Mac mini.

Check out Timber Nation
http://www.timbernation.com

They do custom sizing and finishes in different stain color, all in solid maple.  I had them built my rack based on an all Bottlehead setup.  I also designed and had them built (2) four footer record storage unit, it doubles as a window seat bench.

If you are having trouble sourcing the Acorn nuts for a Flexyrack, you can get them at McMaster.

I have their nuts and bolts to be superior to Home Depot and Lowes and their pricing is often lower. And they offer much more choice of materials.
