I have 2 speakers for my stereo, wondering how high to mount them. They are about 20" high by 12" wide. Wall length is 99" and wall height is 96". Please help

What height is the tweeter up the speaker cabinet?  My ears sit 42-46" off the ground depending on the chair.  If mounting directly to the wall i'd say mount the speakers to that the tweeters are within that range of height, and then place the speakers so that the tweeters are anywhere between around 36-50 inches apart horizontally.  That aspect depends more on the speakers' dispersion pattern and the distance away from them that you'll be sitting.  The further away you sit, the further they can be spread.

What is the height of your ear when listening?  I'd put the Tweeter at ear height since highs are more directional.

Yeah 42" is a loose industry standard for tweeter height.

My ear hight in my chair is 38". So is that where the center of the tweeter go?
