Hi all,
I found that the 1.6k cathode resistors that came with my Stereomour are mismatch. One of them branded Yageo with 1.61k value, while the other is Xicon with 1.578k value.
The difference is only 2%. Will this effect the sound?

Thanks in advance

they are just fine -2% is a pretty close tolerance considering!--you can buy closer tolerances if you choose  http://www.partsconnexion.com/resistors_kiwame_five_watt.html

these and the mills are 1%
but i don't see a 1,6k  or the real need -what you have is perfectly fine

Those are also in parallel with another pair of resistors, further diminishing any potential mismatch.

Thanks guys
I'm building 45 version, so they're not in parallel with other resistors.

I've already built one kit for a friend.  Amazing bang for the buck.  The second kit was missing a 1.6K 10 watt cathode resistor.  Can I use a 1.5K 10 watt on each channel in place of the 1.6K?  I can source a 1.5K in one day as opposed to waiting for one to arrive from Washington.  :D
I'm building the 2A3 version.

For 2A3 version, I believe you could use 1.2k resistor, just don't install the parallel 4.7k
