I'm working on the transformer transplant today.  Looking at the grounding scheme, could the wire from transformer terminal 4 just as easily to to Terminal 16 as to Terminal 22?

Using T22 will put the transformer itself in the grounding path for the AC heaters, using T16 brings it almost to the chassis/safety grounding point.

TIA

Either one will work.

Thanks, I will proceed to the voltage checks.  The transformer will be in UPS today back to Bottleheadquarters.

BTW, It Is Alive ! ! !  I only have an ancient pair of Yamaha headsets to listen on but it sounds clean and clear.  Well, I also have a pair of Grado SR-60s but they are too low an impedance.

Next on to the Speedball conversion.
