Could this be partly attributed to the clean noise free power that solar/battery system produces? Or was it just the whiskey and altitude?
This past weekend I was up i the mountains at a friends cabin that is off the grid. He has newbielink:http://www.shinesolar.net [nonactive]/battery electric system to power the joint. After several hours of listening to the simple ipod/yamaha/polk system I was amazed how good it sounded. Could this be partly attributed to the clean noise free power that solar/battery system produces? Or was it just the whiskey and altitude?Doc how about a battery powered amp?All thoughts on this subject appreciated.Jeff
How about a battery powered amp based on the LM386 chip? It can run on 9 volts, not sure how much wattage that would be able to give you, but I've seen a few headphone circuits lately based on that idea. Dave
