I was just wondering if it was possible to use voltsecond's grommet mod from his foreplay I on a Foreplay III? Here's the link for anyone interested http://www.siteswithstyle.com/VoltSecond/Foreplay_grommets/Foreplay_grommet.html.

It's certainly possible, adjusting as necessary for different screw diameters. It's less safe, since it creates a larger gap between the transformer and the chassis plate, and the transformer (and other) terminals are exposed below the chassis. It's less necessary since the FP-III power transformer vibrates much less than the original FP-I power transformers, and the modern chassis plate is thicker and stiffer.
