Thanks for all the advice. I went and purchased a new meter from radio shack. Works perfectly and automatically recognizes dc/ac volts up to 500. My SEX amp came out to have voltages fairly close to spec, well within the 15%. During the build, I forgot to insert the plastic shoulder pads that go through the screws that holds the plate chokes (those found inside the chasis) and when I noticed that I missed that step, I could only find 3 out of the 4 that were supposed to be left. The unit seems to be functioning properly, so I assume the pieces were not that important? Or will it help decrease noise?
