I've been, at a rather leisurely pace, putting my BeePre together. Unfortunately some tin flowed through a hole and damaged a cap.

It's a Dayton Audio DMPC-0.22 0.22uF 250V Polypropylene Capacitor. I would like to use an exact replacement of what the manual states.
I just sent out emails to the suppliers in Sweden and Germany listed on the Dayton audio homepage (I'm from Denmark).

I tried amazon and ebay but only found them on amazon(dot)com who wants me to use amazon(dot)couk who does not have them for sale. Shipping from parts express is 55USD (a single cap costs less than a dollar).

However, I was wondering if anyone here knows a place in Europe where I can buy 1 or 2 new ones. Or a place in the US who has a slightly cheaper shipping option. Or perhaps If it is possible to purchase a new one from Bottlehead?

Any advice/replies is appreciated
-chady

The Jantzen Crosscap should fit in the same position and give similar performance, but with very affordable shipping.

Email Eileen at BH but they are at Parts Express for cheap and their shipping is reasonable.

Thanks for the replies so far guys. I guess I'll try and shoot eileen n email. I take it is the standard contact form on the shopsite. Then wait for a reply from her and the 2 Euro vendors.
When those fall through I guess I'll look at an alternative brand.
