After the integration install and slight mods to my Reduction I have been just enjoying the music.
Several weeks ago I noticed that the left channel would have no sound for up to several minutes longer than the right during warm up. As it comes on it has a rough scratchy sound until the volume equalizes, then all is well.
I swapped tubes (L to R) and the problem moved with the tube.
I removed the matched 6922s (lots of burn-in time on them) and replaced them with the set that came with the kit. (Also plenty of time on the set)
All was normal for a few days then the delayed start-up of the left channel started again.
On the bench I went through all the resistance and voltage checks with only the following as troublesome:
18, 19, 20, 26 & 31 all read 103V & the C4S board LEDs on that channel take much longer to glow.
From the original build thru the integration install these and their counterparts in the other channel have consistantly read at the minimum of 70V. (2, 7, 13, 14 & 15 still read 70V)
Swapping tubes L to R, the numbers follow the tubes.
Does the voltage change point to something in the circuit, and would the above spec voltage reading of the tube be tied to the delayed start up of the associated channel?
