I love music and have always looked for the best equipment my budget would allow. I have built some very nice bang-for-the-buck systems in my cars and at home.
After my recent rebuild of my Reduction, I realize that it, combined with the S.E.X. amp I use for the speakers blows everything I have owned/built out of the water.
I don't have the means to go for a money-is-no-object system. I'm a regular guy and I have a great sounding system.
Thanks Doc and all the BH crew!

Second the motion..  I'm using the Quickie into a large solid state amp, and am pretty impressed with the sound coming from the stock unit and definitely like the price of it too.  That's pretty hard to beat!  It has taken the high-end price tag out of high end.  Happy Thanksgiving to all the bottlehead staff, and the people on this forum that make this hobby so much fun and so addicting!

I'll chime in too... very happy with the Seduction (who can argue with a little seduction?) that has brought my vinyl collection alive.

Thanks to the Bottlehead folks and a very Happy Thanksgiving to all of my friends here.

Im a guy with lots of hobbys and lots of chat rooms, but BH guys and this forum are by far the most interesting, educational  and enjoyable time I've had in years. My renewed involvement with recorded music has brought a lot of fun and mellowness back into my life.

A couple of weeks age Kevin Olson and I were in the DIY show in Davis. Kevin had his BeePre with a pair of Linkwitz Pluto speakers, it was the best sounding system. I had my Quickie/Quicksand combo connected to a pair of rebuilt EPI 100 speakers. We both received a lot of complements for our systems, both being at opposite ends of the price spectrum.

Wishing everyone a great Thanksgiving!

This has been a very exciting Year in terms of Audio for me. What started out as a search for new headphones in february turned into me discovering the great Bottlehead Crack amplifier for my HD580s. I've had so much fun and learned so much from building it according to the fantastic manual and modifying it according to all the great advice from You guys here at the forum. Add to that the great litterature around places like Tubebooks.org.

Now I did get an HD800 so my next step will be acquiring the Bottlehead Mainline:)

Thanks to all You guys at the Bottlehead forum for a great Audio Year!
Happy Thanksgiving!

I'll chime in too, even though I celebrate my Thanksgiving in October. My Seduction, Quickie and SEX have provided me with hundreds of hours of enjoyment. I am also about to order some more kits to enjoy in the new year. Thanks again Bottlehead, for the gear and for the wonderful forum. Happy Thanksgiving.
