Heat shrink

Hi,
Where can I find a decent heat shrink tool? I need to use some shrink on resistor leads and don't want to melt it. I have a wagner heat gun for removing paint, would that be overkill? Thanks,
Dave

Mine's a Milwaukee but they're all the same. The high setting will discolor black and red if left on too long but the good stuff, 3M and Alpha wire won't melt. You'll quickly get to know the distances and times for Low and High settings.

There is a tool?
I just use a cigarette lighter, hold it in the flame so you dont soot it up. Holding a soldering iron works too if you dont make contact.

Hair dryers are traditional; I've never tried one but I hear they are usually adequate. The great advantage is they are everywhere, unlike paint strippers.

Try these searches on ebay
"long reach lighter"
"pencil blow torch"
"heat shrink gun"
I have a mini heat shrink gun which runs off of a disposable lighter inserted into the handle. I quiet like the look of the pencil blow torch and might have to get one to play with as they only cost a couple of bucks

I have the same heat gun that rif posted a link to. Works well and does not get too hot, been holding up for 2 years now.

This is what Lowes is currently calling the gun I bought 10 years ago as a Milwaukee
