I had "my guys" case the BH headquarters hoping to catch an image of the new project and this is what they came back with...
All you caught was Doc B. and PJ brewing up a fresh pot  ;)

Hahaha... Yes, you are correct... It DOES look more like you two are conjuring up a pot of "Bainbridge's Best".. Important preparation before getting down to business....

Well, it appears you guys make one mean pot of joe... Given the look on PJ's face, he is more than ready to pull the "all nighter" required to get this project done...

Now that I know you guys are sticking with the 300b, I'm REALLY curious to see what design differences this will have over the Paramounts.  In recent weeks I've learned just enough to ALMOST sound like I know what I'm talking about in a casual 30 second conversation about amplifier design.  Beyond that, I'd be exposed as a total fraud. ;)

With that said, knowing just a little bit about this stuff makes it so much more interesting.

I don't suppose you fellas have any more nuggets of information on the new amplifier(s) that you're willing to share with us yet?  ;)

The only thing worthy to replace a 300B Paramount is a SR 300B amp.

We are still working with the amp design and will probably be ready to share some more info in the next week or two. The results so far are very promising.

I agree! The only downfall with SR is little to no tweaking. I can live with that :)

A basic Crack is $299, and a shunt regulated crack is $599.

We believe there is very little demand for a $3500 300B amplifier kit.

What we are going to offer will deliver better performance in some key areas when compared to what would be possible from a shunt regulated 300B Paramount.
