Hey guys, I've been browsing through these forums for a while now.  Thought I would say hi and thanks!  Reading through many of the threads made me more than ready when I broke open my kit when it arrived.  Such a fun project, I have a feeling I'll be doing some upgrades in the future!  Below are are few pictures of my build.

Nice clean build. Two questions. 1) How does it sound? 2) What kind of beer are you drinking there? I'm a bit of a "beer snob" myself.

Yes, VERY NICE build. The beer looks tasty too.

A drink a day keeps the shrink away.

A really super neat build. Did you use the build book lengths for the wires or cut to length to suit YOUR build? I note the Xacto right angle rule which would give you a lot of help with lengths.  :)

Hey there, yep I used the measurements from the instructions, that's exactly what the xacto was for.  I added a bit to each length so I had some extra to make the bends like I wanted.

It sounds amazing!!  I was using my HD650's with a Soundblaster ZX, this is a huge upgrade.  I still need to get a better DAC for home, that is my next purchase.  I'm thinking a Modi 2 Uber at the minimum.  As far as the beer goes I think one picture had one of my home brews which was a Heady Topper clone.

Consider a Bottlehead DAC if your budget allows. If not start saving.

I tried my hand at home brewing back in the 90's with mixed results. I leave it to the professionals now. I'm fortunate to live in an area that has craft brewers who do a great job. BTW I had a couple of Heady Topper's when I was in Vermont about 6 weeks ago. Good stuff. Fiddlehead IPA was mighty tasty too. Well made IPA's are my favorite.

Vermont must have been the unofficial BH meeting place. I was there last weekend, had some Heady Topper but didn't bring any back.

Ah, so you didn't use the specified lengths...................  :)
