300 ohm headphones with integrated amp?

Will an integrated amp put out enough power through the headphone jack for Senn HD6xx?

Can you be a little more specific about what amp you are talking about?  Otherwise our answers will just be generalities.

It's an oldie- Rotel RX550.

In general the old receivers have plenty of power for 300 ohm headphones. I don't find any specs pertaining to the headphone jack, so I can't offer much beyond that.

Well the old Rotel is putting plenty of juice through the Senn 600 and 650's! Man... guaranteed buyer's remorse is choosing between the two cans.
