Just finished the Kaiju tonight. Other than my little brain fart with the 220 ohm resistors, I didn't have any trouble with the build. The 1.5A fuse did blow during the high voltage checks, but after switching to the supplied 2A fuse, there were no further issues.
The BeePre should be arriving sometime this week, so right now I'm driving it with a Marantz HD-DAC1, and it sounds fantastic. I can only imagine how it sounds with the BeePre. It's definitely a step up from the Stereomour II. I debated on whether or not I should have ordered the DC filament supply, but I needn't have worried. I can't hear any hum from my listening position.
Thanks Doc and the rest of the BH crew for yet another winner. I can't wait to pair it with the upcoming speaker kit!
