My man Matt Wong will be playing with his trio (bassist Art Khu and drummer Savannah Harris) at the Jazz School in Berkeley this Sunday. Matt sits in with the Jacqui Naylor trio fairly often these days and jammed with Roy Hargrove on his last trip to New York. Rumor has it he has written some arrangements for Jacqui, who will be sitting in on Sunday's session.

Oh by the way, Matt is 12 years old.
