    Hello everyone!
I want to try adding RCA out puts to my crack, so I can get that sweet tube sound on any of my devices.
I have all the equipment to add new mounts to the chassis and have spare RCA jacks. So there is no worries about that.

My main questions are:
  • Is possible to add the RCA so that they are out putting pre-amp, passive, so I wont end up amping an amp?

  • If I am able to add passive RCAs how would I wire them in?

  • If I'm able to add the passive RCAs would I have to add a switch to turn them on and off to make sure that they don't act as a voltage sink?

  • If I'm not able to add the RCAs before the amp would I be able to just piggy back them into the headphone out or would I have to add a switch to change between them?

Thanks,

You're making it more complicated than it needs to be. Just get a TRS to dual RCA adapter and plug it in the headphone output. That is the most logical way to use the Crack as a preamp.
