Hi all,

A quick question. I purchased a matched pair of the EH 300B Gold valves recently, both in terms of wanting spares in case of need and also to see if the gold version offered any improvement to the standard ones that came with the kit. I was wondering whether it was recommended to do any of the measurement/calibration steps again with new valves fitted? e.g. the trimming pots (I have the DC supply kit fitted) and anything else?

I have the golds fitted at the moment and everything sounds fine, I was just curious.

Thanks

Paul.

Nothing for the output tube unless you need to adjust the hum pots and it sounds like you do not.  Those tubes will last you for many years to come.
