I just purchased a Schiit Bifrost Multibit DAC. I have been using an HRT Music Streamer II. Wow! The Bifrost really opens up the music. Everything is sharper and clearer sounding. I am hearing bass I previously didn't hear before and the bass is more focused. It is like a veil has been lifted between me and the speakers.  A while back I made a post in the Music section about the Bloomfield, Kooper, Stills Super Session album and how good it was sounding. Well it sounds even better today.  Now I start saving for the Stereomour II or Kaiju.

+1 on Schiit products, they are definitely the Schiit!
I took my Cocktail Audio X12 home to do some vinyl archiving and picked up a modi 2 uber for my office.
Yesterday working at my desk I swear I heard the finger cymbals from a couple inches above and outside the left speaker, the sound all alone in its own space. It was almost unnerving, a truly three dimensional sound field.
Bang for the buck on par with the SEX 2.1 it is feeding into.
