Grouding in bottlehead crack

Here is the simple ground wiring as in the document:

The 30ma current from output stage go through input ground -> output ground and back to the power supply, i think this is very sub optimal, this ground node should be connected directly to the power supply ground, what do you think?

I think you're overthinking things significantly.  Looking at the current manual for the current kit, the ground leaving the power supply attaches to the ground lug of the headphone jack, then goes to terminal 3 where those 3K resistors attach.  If you moved the ground coming from the power supply to terminal 3L, you'd eliminate a whopping 2" of black wire from the DC power supply ground path, while at the same time modifying the kit in such a way that the remaining wires that need to go into 3L won't fit.
