Couple of build/parts questions

I'm finally working on the Eros kit that I picked up during the last sale. (Thanks again Doc)
The PS and SR tests were good.
On Page 61 we're instructed to install wires with long pigtails extending out of T1 and T15 that we later attach to the C4S boards. Is there an advantage to the single, now exposed wire vs having a second wire installed to reach the boards? Just curious.
The parts list and Page 67 spec the fancy (?) Vishay/Dale 470 K (4703F) resistors, my kit came with a pair of generic metal foils at that resistance. They measure 473 K, well within 1%. I've got some 4753K V/D that measure 474 K, just over 1%. Does it matter?

Tacking an extension on an existing wire usually creates a connection with higher resistance because it is a little more difficult to make a really solid connection at the splice. It's usually more effective to replace the existing wire with one of the correct length.

The resistors provided with your kit will work just as well as the Dales in that location. Either one is well within a 1% tolerance spec.

That particular pair of resistors sits on the output side of the coupling caps and just serves to drain off said caps as the amp powers up.  The choice of values here is extremely flexible and not particularly important.
