It’s been quite a while since I’ve sat down for some headphone listening, but I’m currently spinning a MoFi pressing of Dark Side Of The Moon through the Eros and Mainline and the HD-800.  Everything just sounds “right.”  The soundstage is perfect.  Every instrument clearly has its spot in the soundstage.  The bass is nice and tight, voices are perfectly natural, and the highs are crisp but not sharp.  I’ve said it before, but thanks Doc and the Bottlehead crew for making some amazing stuff!

Still astounds me when I sit down with it. My daily driver is a WA-8 with an Ether C Flow which I port to work everyday. But then I get to come home and once or twice a week get lost in the Mainline HD800 pairing... it is sublime.
