Hello all-

In the middle of building and wanted to ask advice.  I checked the voltage output from the wall to determine the transformer voltage wiring configuration.  The voltage is 230V at home, and 242V at work. Is there a best configuration to enable amp use in both places? Would users suggest the 225<V<235 or the 235<V<245 configuration?

thanks in advance!

Where do you plan to do most of your listening?

At home where the voltage is 230.  However, I am building the amp at work where the voltage is 240.  If I wire the configuration for 225<V<235, should I be concerned about damaging any of the components while while building/conducting voltage checks when plugged into 240V?

You won't damage anything by doing that, but some of your DC voltages are going to seem a little high.

Thanks for the input.  I'm glad to know that the transformer wont be damaged.
