After it’s sat in it’s shipping box for two+ years I finally got around to building it. Only had one issue where it sparked at the center pin of the 12AU7. Must have had a piece of something there as I cleaned it up in that area and everything has checked out fine.

Stained walnut color and powder coated the top plate a light cream color (looks white in the pic, but it’s a shade darker) and the end bell a candy metallic ruby. Cut a slot all the way around the top and slid the top plate in. The back panel is removeable to take it out easily.

I only have hand tools (drill, circular saw) and had to sand by hand so the rounded off edges aren’t great.

I’ve only had a chance to listen for a few minutes through some old AKG 600ohm cans. Soon as I know it’s not gonna burn down I’ll listen through my Senn 600’s.
