Why is nobody buying the Telefunken 3S4 on the bay for about $18/pair?  :-[

I totally scored a pair LOL. I have another pair from years ago too. So, from my limited research, they're not true Teles. They don't have a diamond bottom stamp, at least my pairs don't. I have no clue who made them. That said, they are excellent bottles, but very thick and fat sounding...almost bloated. You will love them or hate them. I actually stopped using them, and prefer the JAN tubes overall. But, for the money, I couldn't pass them up for the archives.  8)

If you inspect these "telefunken" tubes closes you'll most likely find a Philips type of code somewhere around the bottom half.

Edit: Double ch3ckd the TFK factory notes. No 3S4 or DL92 mentioned. There's no original Telefunken of this type.
