I am on home stretch of completing my Eros 2.  I have some nice Russian MBGO and FT3 caps (1.0uf, 0.5uF, and 0.47uF @500 or 600V) that I will use for starters.  But considering CuTF VCaps for this location, so cost goes up bigtime.

I know that some people are going as low as 0.22uF.  I know little about caps, so: is there a consensus on what is actually the best value here regardless of price- or anything between 0.47 and 1.5uF OK?  The Eros 2 will be running into a BeePre and Paramount 1.1 monoblocs.

Voltage shown on diagram at output capacitor is 170V.  0.47uF and 1.0uF CuFTs come in 300V and 600V versions.  300V rating too low here?  Need higher safety margin?

Dr. Feickert Blackbird II w Reed 2A tonearm and Lyra Skala cartridge.  Eros 2.  Audio Note DAC 2.1 Signature.  BeePre with BeeQuiet and Paramount 1.1 monoblocs into A7 VOTTs or Nagoaka folded horns.

300V is adequate for the coupling caps.  While we use 0.47uF for the Reduction, I'd stick with at least 1uF if you can afford it and they fit.
