Hello,

I recently completed my Stereomour II Kit, and while performing the final voltage check, I noticed that the T7 and T14 DCV were both reading ~110 VDC and ~100 VDC, which failed to meet the recommended range. All LEDs illuminate on the circuit board. I tried swapping the tubes around and reheated any suspected cold joints with no improvement. I am at a point where I am not sure what to do. All resistances and other voltages are within the range.

How did the resistance checks go?  How are the resistances at terminals 10 and 11?  I would not assume that there's anything wrong with the C4S board at the moment.

Hello,

The resistance checks were all within spec. At terminal 10 it was 14k and at terminal 11 it was 16k.

You will have to carefully measure the DC voltage at the outside of each of the 365 ohm brown Dale resistors on the 9 pin sockets to see what's appearing there.

It looks like the resistor value that should be 365R is marked 31R6F (31.6 ohm?). Could that be the problem? I have attached a zoom-in on your IMG_2387.

That is not the correct part, and will cause the exact issue you're having.  If you shoot an e-mail to the replacementparts(At)bottlehead(dot)com e-mail, we can send the correct resistors to you.

Thank you for posting the photos.  I was stalled at the voltage check step since I had no idea how to turn over the chassis without damaging the tubes.  The "box method" you have illustrated helps a lot!
