Muse
« on: August 21, 2021, 03:27:34 AM »
Something in the news got me thinking about the band Muse and I revisited a few of their albums.  Absolution and Origin of Symmetry have been in constant rotation the last couple of weeks.  I'm continually impressed by their music, more so now than I was in the early 2000's.

Any Muse fans out there?  Favorite album or song?

Muse is suuuch a good band. Underappreciated, really.
They melt face, stir souls and love their mom at the same time.
Drones has been my album of choice lately.

I hope it's OK to bump such an old thread. Anyway an old friend reminded me of Muse the other day. It's been more than 10 years since I listened to them. I won't make that mistake again. I just finished up with Absolution which was one of my favorites back in the day. Matt Bellamy's guitar work and vocal range are pretty amazing.

There is so much music out there and not enough hours in the day to keep up with it. I imagine it's the same with you but after time (and getting older) some bands continue to stand out like Muse. jbrahen said it well, they stir souls and not a lot of bands can continue to do that.
