That's going to be one fine Mainline! I love the color and the carbon fiber. Did you actually create a carbon fiber plate, or is it an overlay?

The Mainline isn't the easiest kit to build in the Bottlehead lineup, but take your time and it will sound awesome! As you say, Super Fun!

I made the carbon fiber plate from a piece I bot and have some one cut all the holes copied from the metal plate.

Well done, enjoy the rest of the build, and the music to come.

I will be interested to hear how this comes out. It could be that replacing the metal panel entirely with CF creates a potential for noise. Or not. It's never been done before to my knowledge (I assumed you had just glued a thin piece of CF over the stock panel like other builders have done in the past).

Not glue on top, it's a completely stand alone piece of carbon fiber plate. I put aluminum tape on the under side for conduction coz I read in the manual not to paint on the bottom side .

The aluminum tape is a good idea.
