On a tube amp I have on the site it states....
Tube: 6N8S (analogue 6SN7) (not hybrid)
and
Rectifier: 6C5S (analogue 6X5GT)
Does anyone know if this means that it is safe to use 6SN7 tubes and 6X5GT as replacements? I'm having a hard time contacting the company as they are in the Ukraine. I know this is not Bottlehead related but in my last experiences in these here forums, I can;t imagine a better place to ask about tubes.
