12v DC Crack?
« on: March 14, 2022, 01:14:51 AM »
Hi,
Can I power a Crack amp with 12v DC?
I'm living in a van with solar and a DC battery bank, so converting that to AC with my inverter and then back to DC not only seems inefficient but also potentially introduces noise?
I haven't bought or built a Crack yet but if I do can I add a 12v DC power input to it?
Thanks.

You will need to use your inverter to power the Crack.  The Crack requires a 6.3V AC/DC supply and a ~200v DC supply.
