Hi all,

I finished up my build this afternoon, but I have not completed any of the final tests. Before I plug my Crack into a power source, I’m hoping to get clarification on the 1 step I wasn’t confident in during my build.

“Attach the banded lead of an HLMP-6000 LED to the center pin of the 9 pin socket.“ Since there’s no specification to solder this end, I didn’t, and then got to the end of my build and two of the LED leads are just sitting loose in the center pin. I did, however, solder the 2 un-banded leads, as instructed. What do I do with these leads at the center pin? I couldn’t tell what was done from any of the pictures either, unfortunately.

Thanks in advance!

Second paragraph, p.36 has you solder the center pin of the 9 pin socket.

Yep, you’re spot on! Totally missed that line - thanks Doc! Where abouts should I land the leads on the center pin? Do I just solder the top edge of the center pin?

Scratch that - I see where they go. Thanks again, Doc!
