A/B-ing Phono/Digital signal
on:

Hi all,
I know I've done this before but I can't remember how I had it set up: I want to digitize some LPs and I'd like to A/B monitor either the signal from the turntable/phono pre or the digitized/recorded signal coming from my Mac. I have a Foreplay III/SEX amp combo; a Bugle phono preamp and a Radio Shack A/B switch with two inputs and one output. Can anyone help me arrive at the correct wiring scheme to do this?

What it comes down to is that you have two sources, the output of your phono preamplifier and the output of your computer.
How about just connecting one to "Input 1" of your Foreplay, and the other to "Input 2"?
