I have been itching to buy some more vinyl lately, and one that I want is Pink Floyd's A Momentary Lapse of Reason.  Anybody familiar with the EMI records label?  Any idea whether this album is from analog or digital recordings?

I think the attached was from the tour for that release! Mind is kinda fuzzy about that concert with floating pigs and quadraphonic like "surround" Dogs of War and all...

My vinyl copy has no details about the sources. Not sure if you consulted Wikipedia but it does provide some track level recoding detail also mentions the studio where it was recorded which is an interesting read. Discogs has many releases so some of the initial dates may contain source information and a barcode for searching.

So cool you got to go to the concert!  I saw a cover band called the Machine once, and they were pretty awesome, though I'd like to see David Gilmour live if he still tours.  I skimmed the Wikipedia link a bit, definitely a lot of info.  Oddly enough that album was released on two labels, both EMI and Columbia.  The U.S. release was on Columbia, definitely would buy that.  Some of my fav vinyl is on Columbia.  I'll have to check Wikipedia in the future, never thought of doing that.
