I will be going to the Bay Area Head Fi meet at the Double Tree Hotel in Burlingame, Feb 19, 9-4:30. I'll be bringing the BottleNagra and the usual suspects for amps and, if we can get it done in time,  a new amp.

I was in their show about a 1.5 years ago, had my SEX amp, and a pair of Sennheiser 497' cans and a Sony CD player. Received a lot of complements on the set up. I also had the assembly manual, everyone was impressed how easy it is to follow and build. I am not a headphone person but may drop by to say hi to Doc and company.

The new amp, called Smack, is ready and will be there. It's been designed as an answer to those who want an amp that will run 32 ohm headphones.

The prototype is using a pair of OT-2 (Stereomour) output transformers.

Dan,

Any updates or news from the meet?

I haven't been on head-fi much lately as ever since the web site changes I can no longer post any replies or start threads over there.
