I am confused (and probably a little slow), so my apologies if this has been covered previously but I can't seem to find anything in the archives.  From what I can gather, am I correct in that the Paramount power tubes (300B or 2A3) have DC filiments?  What about the driver tubes in the upgraded Paramount, are they DC and if not would this be a good mod?
Thanks!
Dave

The Paramount has DC filament power for the 2A3 or 300B. The power supply is filtered with a split (symmetrical) choke - we think this sounds better than regulators or capacitors.

The driver is AC heated; the winding is grounded at the center tap to eliminate common-mode induced hum but is not DC. Converting to a DC heater supply for the driver would be a good modification.
