Hi all, newbie here, had my paramours for about 3 years and very happy with them, whenever I get the urge to move them on loads offolk are up for buying them, but I always change my mind and keep them. They sound so good with my tractrix horns. Only reason I ever think to sell them is because of the big step down transformer I have to use. What I really want is a pair of 240v mains transformers for them, any chance?

We have had a few 240v transformers made, I think about 4 years ago. So the design exists. I doubt there are any remaining, but you can email Eileen and ask - tell her I have the part number if she needs it. Since the product is discontinued, it would have to be a special run so the setup costs would be substantial unless we can get a bunch of orders together all at once.

I assume from the timing that you have Paramour IIs, with the larger 8" by 10" (20cm by 25cm) chassis plate. The older version used a different power transformer and power supply layout, sp making the swap would be more challenging.

Versus,

The spam filters at Bottlehead are often guilty of culling legal emails.  It seems to be a problem more often with emails from outside the states.  Maybe you can PM her through the board and see about a response that way.

Below the first orange banner on every page is a hot key for members.  Eileen is listed as QueenBottlehead.  Click on her Moniker and it will take you to her page.  Near the bottom there is a hot key to PM her.
