Hello,

I completed the first of two crack kits, passed the resistance tests but failed the voltage tests.

Mine are:

1. -1.475
2. -1.478
3. 0
4. -1.472
5. -1.468
6. 0
7. 0
8. 0
9. -0.001
10. 0

Pin B5 is -1.458 but 13U is 240.4V

After reviewing each connection, I found one mistake. I had soldered the white wire leading to pin B4 to B3. The voltages listed are with that mistake corrected. Any ideas on what might be causing the voltages to be like this?

Many thanks for any advice!

Cheers,

Mark

All of these connections are connected by wire, therefore they cannot be different.

Is the red wire at 13U loose on the terminal strip?

Do you have a loose black wire connected to the headphone jack?

(Don't discount the possibility of both)

Thank you, Paul! I was overthinking things. It was a bad connection to B5. Apparently melting the insulation into the joint was not the thing to do. :-)

Many thanks.
