Greetings everyone,
I am in the middle of wiring my S.E.X. kit. And it is my first build.
So far, so good.
However, last night as was soldering the H2L-H7L spots near the power transformer, the iron was close very to the red wire that connects to terminal 7 on the PT-10  (see page 36 in 3.0 manual). While there is no gaping spot of exposed wire, the insulation above H3L and H6L does not feel smooth. I can't visibly see silver wire with my naked eye (because it the area of concern is facing the top plate), but maybe there is a splinter-sized exposure of silver wire around one (or both) of these spots.
My question is: Do I need to be concerned about the red wire (that connects to terminal 7 on the PT-10)? Or am I being overly cautious here?
I am having a great time learning as I build this kit but don't want to go further if I may have compromised something.
Thanks in advance for any and all feedback.
Pieter

As long as any exposed bit of wire can't touch any other metal it's not an issue. You could always detach it, and slip a small length of heat shrink tubing over it and reattach if you feel it needs to be covered. From your description I doubt this is necessary.
