Hi to all.

Today I finished the Moreplay Upgrade.
with voltages of:
- 6.31 VDC (why is the other socket inverted?  ) in the filaments.
- 6U/16U 123.1 VDC
- B+ 184.5 VDC little spicy.

Everything was fine, instruction as usual top notch.

It is breaking in now and even using the stock tube (for first test) the sound really noticeable better.

Thank to all people involved new and former owners for this magnificent upgrade.

Cheers from Florida,

Andre.

We flip the voltage so you can swap the tubes around to change the polarity of the voltage applied to the heaters (some argue that it's a good idea to switch this around now and then).

That's great that everything is up and running properly!

Hi
I been running my moreplay for few hours now and rolling tubes.
I found that is running little hotter than before, is that normal? are those two heatsink warm up the surface, probably?

thanks for any input!

Andre.

A little more power will be consumed with the upgrade.

Thanks again Paul.
I measured the PT and read 55 degrees C ~ 131 degree F dont recall how much was before.

The volume knob now play at 9 o'clock decent sound instead 7 o'clock as before, but there is better control at low volume for sure.

Here some tip.
 For the heatsink.
Inner one, install the chip on the heatsink, solder the heatsink to the board tight the screw that hold the chip.
outer one do the same. this way there is not stress on the chip legs.

The signal cables in case are short I passed under the balance pot this way there will be enough cable for soldering.

I holder all the filters together with foam in between and a zip tide.

I was trying to post pictures but its little challenging.

Andre.
