50 ohm Pot?

I wanted to know if, from a sound perspective, using a 50 ohm potentiometer in the Crack is a bad thing?

A 50 ohm pot will probably put most sources into current limit.  That would be a bad thing.

Most CD players would sound bad into this resistance.  Eros wants to "see" 10k or greater.

Why are you considering a 50k pot?

50k would be fine, 50 ohms might burn out a CDP.
