I was given a couple capacitors that are suppose to be Russian teflon. They are about an inch in diameter and about 2 inches long. The case appears to be aluminum and the ends appear to be white plastic or teflon. The leads appear to be silver or silver plated. The only writing looks like the following:

(a schematic symbol for a capacitor and then a diamond shape)
(a greek symbol)T-3
OilMK(a greek symbol)
+- 5%(a delta symbol)
600B
9201

and the other one:

(a schematic symbol for a capacitor and then a diamond shape)
(a greek symbol)T-3
OilMK(a greek symbol)
+- 5%(a delta symbol)
600B
9106

Does anybody recognize these cap? If so, what are its voltage and uF?

Thanks !!!

Sounds like KK Teflons.  They are 5% tolerance and 600 Volts.  Russian alphabet has no V.

I would, however, expect an "FT-?" on them for Teflon caps.  If the Greek symbol was Phi, Ф, that is the F in "FT-3".

Here is a link:

And in Russian (my brother speaks Russian):

That's it. ФT-3

After much head scratching and reading through the web pages listed above (and working with a magnifier) I think this is what I have:

ФT-3
0,1 MKФ
+- 5%
600B

Which means large military grade teflon 0.1 uF plus/minus 5% and 600 volts. I have two. They are about the size of a D-cell battery. Now I have to figure out what I will use them for.

There is a number at the bottom of the label. One is 9106 and the other is 9201. I have to assume that the number is a batch id of some kind.

Yup, that is it.

A 0.1uF makes a good interstage capacitor in a Paramount 300B or Stereomour.  It could be used for a bypass in anything that needs 600V caps.

Date of manufacture... June 1991 and January 1992.  Great caps, BTW!!!

Cool! Thanks for the info. I have Jupiter HT caps in my Stereomour. There is not much room, but maybe I could stuff the KKs in there somewhere. I will have to go read up on the cap burn in threads.
