If you're replacing the 470 ohm resistor, it needs to be at least 1/250W and the leads should fit through the holes on the PC board if possible.

Interestingly parts connexion has non-magnetic Audio Note tantalum resistors, any pros or cons to that? Never heard of a non-magnetic resistor before.
